Vacancies
All occuring repairs and newly to be produced (spare) parts are carried out in our Machining department by the use of (CNC) turning operations, milling, boring and grinding. As a result of ongoing expansion in our business activities as well as upcoming pensions we are urgently searching for skilled personnel for the following vacancies:
> Technical-Commercial Manager Engine Reconditioning Dept.
Due to the approaching retirement of our current department manager we are looking for an enthusiastic Manager Engine Reconditioning Department with a good sense for commerce.
Next to the traditional engine overhauling for the automotive market and private yacht sector, we're also specialized in reconditioning 2-tact and 4-tact diesel engines for general industry purposes, road traffic, shipping and off-shore industry. The diesel engine types and configurations vary from 'small' to very large, including generator sets.
Tasks:
As the manager of the Engine Reconditioning Dept. you will be leading the following divisions:
• Engine Reconditioning Dept., for the overhauling of combustion engines in all brands and types
• Maritime Dept., mainly for the overhaul of main- & auxilliary engine cylinder heads
• Import and Sales of VM Motori High Technology diesel engines and spare parts
- You will be leading approximately 10 employees;
- You will report to the General Director;
- You're looking after good contacts with the clients;
- You will explore new markets, search for new business and prospects;
- You will compile quotations on engine deliveries, engine reconditionings and partly overhaulings;
- You will lead the buying and selling of engines (new and used);
- You will be reviewing after sales calculations;
- You will make sure the department operates smoothly and efficiently.
Job requirements:
Your profile:
- Graduated on a MBO+ or HBO level education (preferrably Engine and VehicleTechnique);
- A minimum of at least 5 years of managing experience in a technical environment;
- Knowledge of and experience with the engine reconditioning practice;
- Capable of convincing colleagues and (internal) clients;
- A good command of the Dutch and English language (including German on your resume will be considered favourable);
- You're able to remain calm under time pressure and still able to work efficiently in occurring stressful situations;
- You're willing to move to the area of our company;
- You're willing to periodically travel abroad.

> Round Grinder / Miller (Machining dept.)
You have profound knowledge and experience in the external round grinding of, for example, cilindrical axis and crankshafts. Profound knowledge and experience in internal grinding operations is a benefit. Working with extreme accuracy is part of your personal quality. Candidates with a background in machining and who are willing to be trained in our company will be invited. Candidates with milling skills will also be invited for a job interview.
