Once the basis of our enterprise 75 years ago engine reconditioning has become a specialty with a fine reputation that exceeds far outside our region. CF Techniek supplies fully reconditioned engines with an excellent price/kW ratio and which only after the accompanying test report has been issued can be considered ‘as good as new’.
CF Techniek is the ultimate specialist in overhauling diesel engines for the transport sector. From trucks to ships, from 'small' to huge marine diesels. We also deliver generator sets for various purposes that demand powerful and reliable power supply.
Our technicians take care of engines ranging from 7.5 kW (10 h.p.) to 736 kW (1000 h.p.). They will guarantee you the best service in reconditioning, follow-up maintenance, repairs, assembly and disassembly of spare parts and the diagnosis and repair of engine and system malfunctions.
Since the early beginning, many disciplines for thorough engine reconditioning have been present in our business.
Here’s a small selection:
• (precision) boring, honing, milling and machining the liner protrusions from the cylinder blocks
• grinding and magnafluxing the crankshaft
• cylinderheads and blocks surface milling, piston pin bush renewing and boring, etc.
We can also update or completely replace existing parts or systems in order to comply with current needs.
Chemical and ultrasonic cleaning
Before the actual reconditioning the engine and its parts are chemically cleaned. The procedure is carried out while adhering to the latest guidelines in environmental control. However, we are able to clean engine parts with modern ultra-sonic techniques on request with a volume capacity up to 11 m³.
Power test dynometer
Our in-house power test dynometer (flow-bench) provides all the possible data there is to know about the tested engine. The test is based on the ‘water brake dyno principle’. With the report produced by this test we can guarantee optimal execution of drive-in procedures after engine revision, optimal adjustment of loaded/unloaded engine with corresponding power/performance. It also allows the optimal detection of how the outlet air temperature and turbo pressure are functioning and finally enables the optimal testing of the load-taking capacity of the engine in relation to time, using endurance testing.
Certification
In addition to the above this extensive test program can be executed on request and held under surveillance by Lloyd’s. For example, to regulate and to put power performance limitations under seal according to legislation for the fishing industry.
